Psiphon - surf freely

If you are prevented from surfing, this is a new free program that allows you to do so without government controls. Psiphon (pronounced sigh-fawn) allows you to use their server without leaving trails. Great for those in Countries that prevent you from learning the truth (or at least others views of the truth).

Why I moved.

There are times when I wonder how life would have been had I stayed in my home town. Of course I miss my friends and family there, but then I look at the weather and think, OMG, I lived there?? Today, right now in the middle of the day, it is 5.1 degrees there and 85.1 degrees here. Yep, my ancestors who settled there were a hardy bunch, not too bright, but hardy :~)

The irony of this kills me

Here in Southwest Florida a Bankruptcy judge has ruled that the City of Bonita Springs may not prevent a local furniture chain from displaying banners, people with tent cards and other means of promoting their G.O.B. sale. Do you think if they would have been able to promote their business like that before, they would not be running a going out of business bankruptcy sale now?

Ah, city light, that is what we were sold on when Bonita Springs incorporated. I sure as hell would hate to see what they consider a full blown city government.
