Mortgage assistance protests

Ok, so there are "Tea Parties" going on everywhere, hey it worked a few hundred years ago, but today there might be a better way. What if everyone applied for mortgage assistance, and I do mean everyone. It would completely bury these companies. Plus, who knows, maybe some will slip through, I know I could sure use a better rate on my home loan. I struggle every month to pay it, just like most of us do.

I'm With Fred

At the bottom of this site is a link to donate to the Fred Thompson Presidential election fund. I support Fred and I feel he would make a great President for all of us. I have read many of his speeches and always find myself impressed with his honesty and his ability to communicate; which we all know is extremely important in today's difficult world.

Do a 'Google search' on Fred and see if you agree; then click on the donate and give what you can. You know it is unbelievably expensive to run for that office and I am sure that he would appreciate any help you can give.

Carbon Offsets

Ok, this is for you who believe in the carbon offset religion and want to be guilt free, but do not have the cash to waste....err, spend. This company gives you a printable certificate indicating your carbon offsets. Simply go to this link, http://freecarbonoffsets.com/home.do, and click on certificate.

Of course that is for earth only, what about those carbon users on Mars? After all they are losing their South Pole and their temperature has risen a like amount, as has earth's, over the past thirty years. This according to an article at the Timesonline website.

"Mars is being hit by rapid climate change and it is happening so fast that the red planet could lose its southern ice cap, writes Jonathan Leake.

Scientists from Nasa say that Mars has warmed by about 0.5C since the 1970s. This is similar to the warming experienced on Earth over approximately the same period. Since there is no known life on Mars it suggests rapid changes in planetary climates could be natural phenomena."

Read the whole article at http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1720024.ece.

Hmm, guess those SUV's we sent up to Mars caused this.

Check out their web site for photographs of the interior...hint. It doesn't look like a fifties truck from the inside.

Universal Health Care

What a great cartoon by Cox & Forkum. This is exactly what I thought of when I started reading about the horrible conditions at Walter Reed (and most other VA centers). Leave it to them to put my thoughts in action. Kudos.

Scientists Predict Shortages in 2080

"Billions of people will suffer water shortages and the number of hungry will grow by hundreds of millions by 2080 as global temperatures rise, scientists warn in a new report." so the report goes. This is by the same 'scientists' that can not accurately predict our weather tomorrow, heck, today. In medieval times we had the 'prophets' who predicted what would be happening many years in the future, now we have the climate scientists to replace them, and they are just as full of b.s.

This world is billions of years old and has undergone several swings of climate - a natural occurring condition - and this world is still full of life. Plants, animals and humans adapt - heck I adapted from upstate Minnesota to South Florida which is much greater temperature swing then these knuckleheads are predicting.

Oh, and this is a man made climate change. Do not pay attention to the fact other planets are also undergoing climate changes where man hasn't even been to. Follow the money and we will understand where this is coming from. I think it is disgusting that these people will sell their soul for a buck.
